I'm being a dork right now even announcing this trite little piece of information. But I just got confirmation that the bass player for Umphrey's McGee, Ryan Stasik, is following me on Twitter. Matter of fact, this blog post will be the first "tweet" that goes out since I found out that he tapped that "Follow" button on his glowing rectangle. THIS JUST IN: Ryan just tweeted to me the following: "@ryanstasik: @teleskiguy i hope u enjoy ur weekend at UmBowl, and i hope to learn how to teleski someday! #ragerestrepeat" If Ryan wants to learn, I will teach! I'm off to Chicago in the morning. Got the iPod loaded up, got the right shirt for the concert, got my swim trunks, got my boundless energy for this goddamned band that keeps drawing me in. Illinois will be the 8th state I've seen Umphrey's McGee play in.
