ಸヮಸ: Do they lean back or forward when they laugh hard? Do they snort? Slap their knee? Do that seal-esque clap? Do they often laugh to the point that you can’t hear their laugh anymore? About all your TMM kids, because I'd love to know some happy things about them <3 Also (-.-): How should one wake them up? Do they get out of bed easily? for Jafar, Cilnia and Dee!

ಸヮಸ: Do they lean back or forward when they laugh hard? Do they snort? Slap their knee? Do that seal-esque clap? Do they often laugh to the point that you can’t hear their laugh anymore?

nino leans back and laughs loudly without any inhibitions, sometimes facepalming. snorting is sometimes known to happen, as well as a bit of oinking if the laugh is going for the gold. it’s usually very different from his usually controlled and fancy behavior.

jafar laughs very loudly and hard as well, head tilted back, mouth open wide, hands clapping and smacking whatever surfaces are available and just giving it his everything. bonus points if he makes kitchenware jump on tables. contagious.

dee may do both - leaning forward or back, forward especially if he’s in company of people he has to behave around - in which case he’d also cover his mouth. if he’s in trusted company he is defnitely louder and may facepalm.

ryan is one to learn forward and punch the table or slap her knee, not repeatedly but one single, loud hit. she’s also one to snort quite a bit.

siobhan leans forward and hunches on herself, making herself as tiny as possible and often covering her mouth or her entire face, especially if she can get her hair on it. she would also get her face very very flushed. there also may be tears if you get her good.

cilnia has scarce blink and you miss it one second smirks. she doesn’t laugh. she is too controlled for it. how dare you.

messalla can’t laugh too hard without his throat hurting, but he’s one to tilt his head backwards, then have his body follow the same angle and laugh/howl majestically or maniacally, depending on the situation. in private he may do the silent laugh thing, and he gets very red in the face when it happens.

nadette can’t laugh hard when she’s in the company of other nobles, but in private she leans back and laughs openly. it’s a very charming and heartfelt laugh, the kind that feels contagious. she also may bury her face into the next available person if it’s too much.

crispin has quite the sincere laugh if you manage to find what makes him tick, but it’s also very grandiose and theatrical so some people may find it fake. he wouldn’t go as far as smacking something, btu he may hold his stomach.

(-.-): How should one wake them up? Do they get out of bed easily?

jafar works with a regular mercenary wake up call, but to make his day you should add dogs and a friendly person shouting him to rise and shine. if it’s someone he has a close relationship with, then they may deadass jump on his bed making a lot of noise, and then jump on him for a bit of play fight. he likes to stay in bed for a bit, but doesn’t mind if he can’t.

cilnia usually wakes herself up, but the best way to proceed with her is to be quiet and polite, knocking on her door, opening it slightly, and wishing her a good morning. if there is trust, one may gently touch her shoulder, but with previous audible warning because she sleeps with her dagger. she has no trouble getting out of bed, but may stay five more minutes if it’s winter and she’s cozy.

dee likes to be lazy in bed and whoever goes to wake him up should expect him to be in deep sleep and not hear them at first. one should definitely be friendly and warm when waking him up, and if it’s someone trusted he doesn’t mind a bit of shaking if that’s what it takes to bring him back. one to stay in bed, but he gets up easily if there’s any medical need he has to tend to.

Deathroot :: What is the most horrifying thing the Nightmare can cause your character to see?

Nino: himself as a child, powerless and weak, unable to speak or really do anything, maybe immobilized or trapped somewhere dark and small, at the feet of the man who tried to break him. This time he succeeds. Nino tries to scream with everything he has but to no avail. He slowly mutates into a deformed monster and the cell he’s in starts shrinking and suffocating his monster self.

Jafar: his boyfriend, bloodied, cracked skull, brain slowly dripping on one side, but somehow he’s alive and on his feet and there is nothing but hatred in his eyes. He tells Jafar he should have been the one to die and to kill himself and that he doesn’t deserve to be alive and that he destroys everything he touches.

Dee: himself turning into an abomination due to him being a weak, pathetic mage. He’s surrounded by his family and friends, but they don’t recognize him. He kills them all and enjoys it. The last one is his nephew. When he approaches, the baby has no face.

Siobhan: she’s dragging the bloodied body of her father through the woods, the man gurgling and drowning in his own blood but at the same time somehow screaming for help. He’s too big and Siobhan can’t carry him home, the woods are neverending and there are boars following them. It takes months for him to die and Siobhan is still carrying him.

Ryan: trapped with her parents, and brought underground to live with the dwarves, her elven heritage erased. She is not allowed to do anything unless given permission, and although she tries to fight it nobody seems to hear her, and she ends up in a dark tunnel screaming to get out.

Cilnia: she is not a mage and thus not privileged. She is one more slave, with no ambitions and no place in the world. Her brother smiles at her, tells her she should be grateful for this life. Cilnia can’t resist the temptation and starts reading one of the masters’ books, but is caught, yelled at and beaten, and promised a punishment. Another Cilnia appears and kills her.

Embrium for Ryan and Dee

Embrium :: What is the kindest thing anyone had ever done to your character, and do they remember or even know it happened?

Ryan: her sister Darcy took her away with her when she left home due to their parents being very controlling and toxic. Darcy started working as a mercenary to provide for Ryan and eventually made a healthy and loving home with her and her wife in Highever, and although Ryan ended up leaving when the couple announced they were having a baby, Darcy has made very clear that she is family and she is always going to be welcome and that she has a home where she will be loved.

Dee: when he was first brought to the Circle he was terrified of himself and of magic after he unintentionally hurt his sister, and as a consequence he tried to never practice it at all, and grew more and more scared of it. At that point and before templar intervention was needed, an elven enchanter and spirit healer named Yritheios took him under his wing and started to teach him traditional medicine, which lead to eventually Dee opening up a bit towards magic and years after to become a spirit healer himself. He wouldn’t have made it without Yri’s help.

Rashvine :: Who/what is the one thing or person your character simply cannot stand? 

(Replying to this with TMM characters who... mostly aren’t active anymore :_D Obvs some of my boys have people from their past that they can’t stand,)

Nino: Gem’s exes lmao. Except Viktor, Viktor is fine. He especially finds Silver very hard to digest because he broke Gem’s heart, and then he dared to die, making Gem even more miserable, AND THEN HE DARED TO ACTUALLY NOT BE DEAD AND SHOW UP AGAIN. He is obviously very biased about it, but how could he not, seeing how his best friend spiralled down after meeting him? Part of him knows it’s an asshole move to think like that because so many of the things that happened were not in Silver’s control and that the man suffered a whole lot on his own too, but Nino can’t get past it and would be very happy if Silver went away to never return.

Jafar: Caius, because he’s a damn Tevinter slave owner who acts as if he was innocent. Jafar wants to straight up murder him and when he and Gayle met for the very first time they planned some of it. Pato, because oh surprise, he’s another Tevinter fuck who tried to be buddies with Caius. Marlon, who called him knife ear so Jafar had to chase him away with the intention of beating the living shit out of him with a chair. It was an epic chase. Vint, who is a whiny coward and honestly why would you give yourself a cutesy Tevinter name.

Dee: Byron, who let an abomination loose on him. Lauren and Miri, templars who should mind their own business and stop trying to befriend mages as if there wasn’t a terrifying power imbalance. Jean-Luc, who is a straight up asshole with no respect for life whatsoever. Dee is very judgemental and has Strong Opinions about life and killing people, so he probably can’t stand your regular mercenary. He has very confusing feelings towards Jafar, who is his cousin but also a murderer.

Elfroot :: What is a small, mundane thing that brings your character great comfort?

Ryan: doing her nails, putting on makeup or doing any kind of self care, like taking a bath. She is a very mistrustful angry girl with a low self-esteem and no idea where she belongs in this world, so any act of self care is huge for her and helps her build up her self-esteem and gives her a lot of confidence.

Siobhan: she mostly only does small, mundane things, as she lives a simple life. She likes making tea and drink it in the comfyness of her home, legs resting on her dogs, rain sounds coming in from outside, naughty romance book on her lap. As of late, cuddling with Dani and Miles has proven to be very comforting if a tad confusing for her. And Dani brushing her hair is about the best thing ever and makes her feel very bubbly and cared for.

Cilnia: finishing her tasks and having everything well organized, whatever it is. If everything is in order and without any chances of things surprising her and catching her with her guard lowered, Cilnia feels like she can relax a bit and enjoy a book with an expensive glass of wine in her hand.

gm asked us how would our character look in a heavy metal outfit so i put these things on ryan and she looks hot as all hell
