For fall break, I not only decided to continue my internship and not take a break but I also decided to take on the challenge of doing the morning shift. Today I had to meet WNEP's Ryan Leckey at the Scranton Running Company for a live shot. He was covering a part of Ryan's Run that is taking place this Saturday in Scranton. Ryan's Run is designed to inspire fitness, challenge disabilities, and change lives of children and adults with disabilities in NEPA who are served by Allied Services. It's also designed to bring awareness and raise funds to help those who are disabled. As I got back to the station and checked WNEP's Twitter page, I noticed people were commenting all about Ryan's Run and how excited they were to run the 5k this weekend. Now if you search Ryan's Run on Twitter you'll get a number of searches because this fundraiser is so well known.
