Caffeine Boost || Jesse & Ryan

Starting a new job was always exciting for Jesse. Whether it was working at the radio station on Barden's campus or serving coffee to the locals at a cafe just a few blocks from the place he now called home, it really didn't matter to him. He was one of the odd ones, the ones that loved always having something to do, who thrived on having people rely on him. Perhaps that was why he took on the role of leading the Trebles so easily back at Barden, because it meant that the rest of the guys relied on him to make sure things went perfectly. Was it stressful? Yes, of course. But a part of him thrived on that, it made him work harder. He loved it.

So naturally, that was how he found himself here: starting his first day working at a small cafe on the corner of who cares and irrelevant. And if he was being honest with himself, Jesse was pumped. Things had been going smoothly thus far: nothing had been spilled, the costumers seemed happy, and he'd even made a few tips -mostly from the table of teenage girls that came in a few hours earlier, but hey, he'd take what he could get-. The bell above the door chimed for what felt like the millionth time that day, and Jesse tossed the person who'd entered an easy smile. "Sit where ever you'd like, I'll be with you in a sec." Here we go.
