Tides

Another speedpaint (2-3 hours) to try out a semirealistic style. A Rydalian with a Water affinity. Somehow, they're incredibly ambiguous...? I half-intended to make them female, but kept switching while I was drawing, and now they look like a feminine male? Plus I can't tell if they're smiling or not.

Reach

Reach beyond your boundaries. The only limit is what you have decided for yourself. Happy New Year, everyone. Landscapes and mountains are so much easier when you can use blur. I've started drafting the first few chapters of Apotheosis. I'll probably use this as a title page. Then again, this will be a busy year for me, so it's likely that I won't be able to work on it much. Well. Here's to new beginnings.

Corruption

Drawing evil things makes me happy. So, inverted Syren with some colors modified. The way the glowing squiggles interact with the other colors is... interesting. Like it consumes everything else... Might have been inspired by  a   b a d   t i m e. ... In other words, inspired by Sans from Undertale and a bunch of his bad time fanart. (I haven't played the game, just watched walkthroughs.) I was listening to Megalovania while drawing this.
