plot: ryder cheated on your muse but he still loves her and is trying to get her back

"please don't walk away from me." ryder called, shaking his head a little. he picked up his speed so that he could catch up. "i know. i know. i messed up. i - there's no excuses. but..." he sighed. "i love you." you don't know what you've got till it's gone was the phrase which sprung to mind.

“ look at me, hey… it’s okay. you’re safe now. ” ryder spoke, looking to his friend as he stepped aside to let them into the house, “ what happened? ”

when ryder saw them, he thought that it was just a weird coincidence. he had no idea that they were there for him. but as they continued to get closer - he quickly realised that they were. and he hated the way that he felt the butterflies in his stomach. “you’re here for a blind date?” he asked them. his ex. his ex of a few years who he’d thought about often but never thought to reach out too. what were the chances?

“yeah, you’re not going to get out there..” ryder sighed as he glanced out of the window. coming home with his ex girlfriend hadn’t been his smartest idea, he knew that. but he definitely felt like this was the worlds way of laughing at him. “you’re gonna have to tough it out here, i guess.”
