I have seen playthroughs for your game, because I am not able to play it due to not have a pc. I'm going to be doing a college course in 2D games, and would like to have some advice on what things I should avoid whilst making a game. Thanks!
((Well, the class will probably teach you more than I could. I’m still learning a lot myself. But in general, it’s a good idea to start with a simple idea and then build on that until you think you have something fun. Don’t go in trying to make something really complex as one of your first projects. Also, playtest constantly, and have other people playtest your games without interference from you. Sit back and watch how they interact with your game without constant instructions. Just because something works when you’re playing your own game doesn’t mean someone else won’t be able to break it in two seconds when left to their own devices. And don’t forget to keep a to do list and a bug list, I guess? I dunno, game design is a broad topic. Good luck, though!))
((Oh yeah, and hi, fluttershyreplies followers. I know I haven’t updated in almost a year. It’s just been a busy year. I’ve been working on other things, and my boyfriend moved in with me. I’ll draw more flutterdash soon, I promise))
