there’s a twinge of a smirk forming to jason’s features as his friend voices his concerns. coming back to ‘74 was something jason avoided until the last possible second, and being that things seemed to be in pretty shit shape, even someone with as little a conscious as red hood had couldn’t bear to leave the few people he cared about behind in all of the chaos. as much as he wanted zero part of it, he’s invested now, especially when roy’s looking at him the way he is. there’s a shake of his head that follows a defeated sigh before his frame is falling onto the mattress, bones finally resting for the first time since arriving to the mansion. there are faint similarities that remind him of the manor, though the thoughts are pushed aside as dark hues lift to meet that of roy’s. “you couldn’t get rid a’ me if you tried, speedy.” he teases with a smirk, arms lifting to cross over his chest as eyes shut. “so, give me the cliff’s notes of all the shit that’s gone down.”
