Nothing lasts forever, and neither did Lily and Ray’s marriage. Clashes over job situations and parenting styles led to constant nights of fussing and major disagreements, revealing a side of Ray that Lily had never seen before. He became verbally abusive, taking out his stress on her at every opportunity. Lily refused to tolerate the disrespect, especially in front of their daughter, so she swiftly served him with divorce papers, which he mutually agreed to while crying like the sorry man he is.

After long months of isolating herself in depression and searching for new places to live, Lily finally feels better and found a new place she could call home. And of course her parents pulled up to help out and stay see Ryllis.
