I woke up this morning to not only Chris sporting a new look, but also Scott and CJ - luckily, I saved my Lisa from the same fate. The easy explanation, since CJ cannot grow a beard yet, he can at least sport the same haircut as his dad and his uncle...
I’m so not convinced yet.
The girls spending time with their father has left me with so much freetime. So I took the time to disconnect from everything and just enjoy the alone time. Recharged my mental battery a bit and now they’re back home -- I feel so much more focused and able to fully pay attention. I guess as a parent, you never realize how much you need time away from your kids until you are away from them.
Anybody’s up for a bear hunt? Well, more like tracking, actually. Kal has been missing since this morning. I let him out to do his - ahem - business, and the rascal decided to disappear from my radar. If any of you have any information on his location, you’ll save me a lot of time of going around town and making a fool of myself. My best guess? Probably ran after a squirrel or a raccoon and ended up enjoying cuddles and scratches from various strangers he met along the way. If there’s one thing I know about Kal, he will not refuse any kind of affection.
I just recently learned what “orthorexia” means, and honestly - have we all lost the plot? My wife’s best friend suffered from it for a while after a series of comments from their agent. Have we unlearned how to be nice to each other? Or to filter our comments?
