Can you tell the official sim team to not whitewash characters then? Since a few families were whitewashed.

But hey, anything goes there right? Maybe people just want to make pre existing characters to their preference, nothing racist there.

First of all, at least the other two were brave and bold enough to show their face. I will give them that.

And if I could, I would. I am aware of what they have done. I don't think any form of white washing is okay, but they did not take the color away from every sim and make 50 shades of porcelain.

Never did I ever say you cannot play your game how you wish to, but when you take every character (especially those that are melanated) and rinse them of their color, it's taking away their identity and individuality. I think it's weird that they took the time to do this to every sim, figure out how to make them default replacements, call it a "beautification", and then upload it to patreon for a fee.

Dealing with medical stuff is so frustrating and it feels like I’m drowning in the ocean with a blindfold on sometimes. Normally I’d have something positive to add to this but I’m just really fucking frustrated and can’t be bothered. I don’t normally use places like this for ranting but I feel like more people need to see that this shit is not easy. You don’t just go to a doctor and suddenly all your problems are solved and you have a diagnosis like they show on TV. I’ve been fighting for answers for over 3 years now and even though i have a diagnosis (well, for some things lol) I still am only get the bare minimum treatment. It’s complex and frustrating and so much of it is just sitting and waiting for answers that never come. And sitting and waiting for something to go horribly wrong so maybe then FINALLY someone will take this shit seriously and you can get the help you need. I know in the end I’ll be ok but right now I’m just feeling a bit hopeless and frustrated.

I'm at my best friend of 11 years' birthday party, and I'm hurting.

We haven't really hung out in a while since we don't go to the same school (she's in 8th grade, I'm in 9th) and I'm hecking busy all the time now mfkdkvkdkgos. I don't know anyone else at this party, and apparently now is a time where I suck at self-esteem and talking to new people.

My very best friends know me as The Girl Who Never Shuts The Fuck Up™, but right now, it feels like I've never been quieter. Something in me is aching to just be myself, be outgoing, be fun, but I just can't. And I'm hurting because of it.
