The unsettling feeling she was feeling in the pit of herstomach was nothing compared to what she had felt when she had to choose whatside to go with, nor did it come close to throwing herself into battle, knowingfully well that it may be her last. Balling her right hand, Corrin quietly blewthe air from her cheeks, nervously pacing back and forth, red eyes glued to theground. Worry and hesitation painted her facial expression. She had not goneout today, and simply told Jakob to deliver a messaging, informing the armythat she was not feeling good.
Which was true; Corrin had not been feeling good, though itwas much longer than just that day. After confirming with a few of the women incamp, and Felicia, she had found out recently that she was…well, pregnant.Being told this news brought her nothing but joy – she had cried happilyalongside Azura, who had congratulated her on the extraordinary news.
However, Azura’s words, “Have you told him yet?” continuedto ring about in her mind. No, had not told Ryoma yet of the news…
Another heaving sigh escaped the young princess. That handunclenched, and trailed down to her flat stomach, a bit shaken. How would hereact? Ryoma was a busy man, one of the most contributed within the army, andwas always busy – though he always made time for her.
The door creaked open, which had her jump and immediatelyturn towards the intruder, only to relax her tense body when she noted it wasonly her husband. She frowned when his face showed nothing but concern for her,and her body merely froze as Ryoma began to approach cautiously.
“Corrin?” he asked cautiously, voice heavy with worry. Hislarge hands rose up from his sides, and instead of crossing them over his chestlike she had thought, he grabbed her small hands and gave a soft squeeze. “Areyou feeling well?”
His soft voice, oh how it soothed her. She knew that hemeant no harm and that he was only worried for her, just like any husbandshould be with their wife. Nodding slowly, the Nohrian princess simply gazed upto meet his warm, brown eyes, full of love and care. “I a-actually…” Shehalted, taking in a breath and exhaling. “Have something to tell you…”
His thumb gently grazed against her forehead, trailed downher cheek, then grasped her chin with gentleness, forcing her to keep herscrutiny with him. “Tell me, love…”
It only took a few seconds to prepare herself, then said itsoftly, though loud enough for Ryoma to hear, “I’m pregnant.”
If she thought the past few minutes were the worst, thesilence that loomed around the two had topped as the worst moment of her life.
Ryoma’s eyes hardened, simply keeping his eyes on her,though there was a flash of shock that finally waved through as his pupilsdilated slightly. His mouth slowly parted, as if to say something, but to noavail. For once, he seemed utterly stupefied.
The longer the silence, the more anxious Corrin grew. Was heupset? Was he okay with it? Muteness was her foulest enemy – an unknownreaction was worse than portraying one. Clearing her throat, red eyes fluttered,her hands grabbing his arm, evidently shaken.
Her sanity almost shriveled, and she was about to pull away,if it wasn’t for Ryoma’s sudden grunt. The prince’s reaction finally broke thesilence among them, merely blurting out, “Really?”
Despite her hesitance, Corrin mumbled, “Yes…” It soundedshameful, really, to actually have them slip up and have her pregnant duringtimes of war – and it was something that she had thought about, though shenever believed it would have really happen – now.
Her mind blanked out the instant Ryoma dropped his handsdown, enveloping her into a soft embrace, face hiding into the crown of herhead. His mouth curved upward – utter glee blooming within his heart. He too, unbeknownstto Corrin, had also thought about starting a family with her, but timing hadusually broken that idea away. The sounds of a loving chortle rang about as heembraced her. “This…this is perfect!” Pullingback, he picked her up – hearing her squeak – and gracefully placed her atopthe bed behind her. “You’re serious about this?”
The smile he sported told her that he was completely fine.
And it honestly warmed her heart to see him so happy at thenews. Eyes closing, Corrin flashed him her sweet smile, unable to resist thebroken laugh that erupted from her. A few tears rolled down her soft cheeks, towhich he wiped off softly.
Another blissful chuckle flared from him, and this time, areddish hue dotted his cheeks. “I’m going to be a father…”
“A great father,” she added softly, a hand moving to herstomach.
A family.
Leisurely, Ryoma crawled himself on to the bed with her, thethought of going back out to join the rest long gone. He sat comfortably, thencarefully pulled her on to his warm lap. He met soft, red eyes – the softnessreached in and tugged at his feeble heart, as all he ever needed to be trulyhappy, was now in his arms, gazing back at him fondly. One hand interlockedwith one of hers, then slipped over to her belly, his enthusiasm only seenamong his wide eyes. “I love you – and our soon-to-be child… So much.”
Yuri and Ryorin came up with the lyrics for their new hit single called "CAT", now all they need is the melody! Can't wait to hear it on the radio! 4ne1 HWAITING!!
The other day 4NE1's Ryorin and Yuri were caught on a double date with UKISS' and B1A4's Kiseop and Gongchan. Both their loves seem to be going far as they share ice creams and laughs at a fun karaoke bar. By now, Kiseop and Gongchan have probably comforted their girlfriends while they cried while watching a few dramas together. Now that's sarang!
We caught Yuri coming home with loads of DVD's the other night. Turns out they were all Korean dramas. "I usually procrastinate my life away by watching Korean dramas and animes too." she tells us. She also had two buckets of ice cream, maybe she's going to give one to Ryorin so they can both sob while watching their dramas.
As all you Limitless' already know, Ryorin has debuted as our "emotional" leader, but here's some interesting facts, she is often caught crying with Yuri as they watch one of their favourite anime called Naruto. "Ryorin, always helps me when I cry and I try to comfort her too, Naruto can get...very emotional, we have a hard time, sometimes we don't sleep at night and we pray that Naruto and Sasuke will be best friends again." says Yuri.
