With a frown on his face Ryou confirmedtwo things: Saeki still was too happyand caves like this weren’t much to his liking.

Is it okay if I ask you another question? (⊙︿⊙✿)(sorry, you probably get tons of asks ;_;) I recently bought a few marimo balls (I read they were easy-to-care-for and worked well with bettas). I put one of them in with my fish, to try it out and see how he liked it. The marimo is shedding a bit (small particles of the algae are drifting off into the water) and he's nipping at them (eating?) is this unhealthy? I don't think he should be ingesting algae? sorry if the answer's obvious >___< thanks~

I am personally not a fan of marimo balls so don’t have them in my tanks. If he’s actually eating the vegetation, he might have some digestive issues, but he’ll likely stop picking at it sooner or later. How long have you had the marimos and how often does he pick?

PFFF IF you actually forgot and don’t have a copy saved, I can send you a copy (of the original OR rewrite… or both) HONESTLY IT WAS SO GOOD it was my first RyouKiri experience and boy was it magical

i think I saved the rewrite on my computer somewhere? And it was both of ours xD Like the original was super good and just how much the two of them have grown since then. It’s been magical
