it was a mistake, he realizes, to have tried to keep up with you and steve and fucking thor last night. he doesn’t remember shit; all he knows is that he feels like shit and that he hopes he didn’t get too sloppy. everything hurts, but he still manages to lift his head up and regard you with one eye open.
