It had to happen eventually...
I got lost. Badly.
Left the Imperial Palace Grounds, started walking in the direction I thought I wanted to go. I never came across the landmark I was looking for. And my wifi device ran out of power as I was starting to wonder if I was hoping the right way. With 5% of power left on my battery. So I keep going thinking eventually I'll run across a train station or a police officer.
I do eventually find an officer. I'm no where near where I wanted to go. But they point me to a train station where I can regroup to where I need.
I got there and it was such a local train there was no English on the signs. But some locals came by so I asked which way, and they were going the same direction!! ❤️❤️
I had left the hostel around 10 in the morning, got back around 6 pm. Productive and adventurous day!
We're in Tokyo station! May as well check out the palace grounds while we're here!
