Hello, everyone!

Remember when back in 2017 we had our first Bonizumo Week? Admin Grace and admin Devin did a fantastic job at organizing this event and now after 7 years I humbly take the iniative to revive this tradition.

So- We are happy to announce Bonizumo Week 2024 will be happening October 14th — 20th on both Tumblr and Twitter!

Bonizumo week is an event to celebrate the relationship between Ryuji “Bon” Suguro & Izumo Kamiki from the series Blue Exorcist.

In span of the last 7 years these two became quite close in manga and shared many wholesome moments together. One of their most shippy scenes is also about to get animated hopefully - and we hope it'll inspire you to join our celebration this October.

Let's do our best to make the event fun! The post with more info (like prompts, rules and guidelines) is already in the drafts. Please, stay tuned!

Hello everyone and Welcome to Bonizumo Week 2024!!!

Today is Day 1 - Height Difference!!! I struggle to think about what to draw for this day because I do loved the height difference between Izumo and Bon but I do not know how to translate it into an art piece. Took me so many trials and errors to get me to make this composition.

I always figured that Izumo, while brave, do not like to be in high places so I decided to drew her while being a bit composed, she is still clearly nervous being piggy back on Bon. Of course, Bon will be careful and he makes sure that Izumo is doing fine. But he cannot resist how cute and brave Izumo is despite being a tad scared of heights.

Bonizumo/Ryuumo Week 2024 Day 2 ~ Study Break

You know the way Ryuuji always looks at her in silence?

Yeah.

I wanted to depict that here.

He is there, looking at her still thinking about her studies and other stuff when they were supposed to go get something to eat but he doesn't like interrupting her when she's deep in her thoughts. So he just quietly and happily, enjoys looking at her~ before he brings her back from her mind and they go together to clear their minds with some snacks.

Decided to make a drawing for this day. I don't rlly like sharing my art here, I usually draw for another fandom but since this is the Ryuumo Week, I guess is time to break my made up rules and celebrate them.

It was a quick drawing I started yesterday in the afternoon, lol, so is just kinda there but I still liked the vibes. Congrats to them~!
