Awww, your words make me so happy, dear anon! I think people know me mostly thanks to my edits, but I do write fanfics too! Even though my humble English skills make me struggle a lot. So I'm really glad you appreciate this part of my work too ❤️

DanLady cuddling/hugging headcanons:

• Dante is certainly into it. If it were up to him, he'd never let Lady go. Too bad, his girl loves her personal space and scolds him when he's too affectionate in public.

• Despite her stern mask, Lady melts every time she feels his strong arms around her. Dante's body temperature is higher than the human norm, so in cold weather, she uses this as an excuse to cuddle up to him. But she can't tell him the truth: show him a finger, and he'll bite the arm off.

• It's not common for Lady to initiate their hugs. But when Dante wakes at night, gasping for air from another nightmare, her hands always find his face in the darkness, and then she gently cradles his head, letting him rest on her chest, stroking his hair. With the soft rustle of her voice, he can breathe again.

• Dante fears his demonic nature, the whisper in his ear that he's too gentle: he needs to crush her in his arms, hear the crunch of her bones and the song of her cries. Lady only snorts at it, reminding him that she can stand up for herself.

• To finally dispel his fears, Lady hugged him while he was in the Devil Trigger form. But maybe she shouldn't have thrown herself on his neck while they were flying in the air. Dante was so shocked he almost crashed into a skyscraper.

• After every successful hunt, Lady barely catches her breath before her silly boyfriend scoops her up and does the princess twirl. She can't help but laugh every time.

Hiii, I rlly like ur works especially ur thoughts and theories abt ndmc season 2. I have a question that I think u gonna be interested in. So when Dante got E&I we can see him in the suit he was frozen, but he still has his old red coat(and that means he got guns before new suit). And I thought a lot abt it. I think in Darkcom no one could give a damn abt some coat, but only Lady knows and could save it for him. What do you think abt that?

I'm totally on the same page with you! The coat Dante receives just after defrosting is undoubtedly his old one from S1. If you look closely, you can notice that it's slightly battered, still bearing the marks of the fight against White Rabbit. Given that Darkcom strikes me as a rather dehumanizing organisation (Baines constantly refers to Dante as an "asset", an "instrument" and what not) I doubt they would've been sentimental enough to preserve his personal belongings that aren't useful in their "holy war".

Now Lady, on the other hand, paid close attention to Dante’s sense of style. Of course, she mocked him, but there is no doubt that, in her mind, that red coat is linked to Dante’s image. I suspect she considers it utterly wrong for him to be stripped of a part of his iconic look - a part of his very essence.

Honestly, seeing how much she cares about Dante’s well-being, I like to imagine that it was Lady herself who draped the coat over his shoulders, offering him a shred of comfort in such a hostile environment. Maybe she kept his comfort coat, haunted by guilt and holding onto the hope that Dante would eventually get the chance to wear it again. But then she gonna notice that the boy's got more beef after the cryo-sleep srsly it might just be a visual trick, but in the S2 Dante really does look bigger and provides him a brand new outfit instead. After already commissioning Ebony and Ivory for him...

Isn't it a shipper greed they talk about in the Bible? 🤣
