Nismo Nissan Z GT500 '2022

The 2022 Nismo Nissan Z GT500 is a racing car introduced by Nissan to compete in the GT500 class of the Super GT Championship starting in the 2022 season. It replaces the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500, marking the return of the Z name to motorsport. The car features an aggressive aerodynamic body kit developed by NISMO for high downforce.

Debut: The full NISMO livery was unveiled on February 20, 2022, at the Nissan Motorsports Fan Event. Engine: Compliant with GT500 regulations, equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with direct fuel injection. Purpose: Designed specifically for circuit racing, it represents the pinnacle of NISMO competition engineering. Appearance: Based on the production Nissan Z (RZ34), but with a wide body, a massive wing, and a prominent front splitter. This car marked a significant milestone for Nissan, shifting focus from the GT-R to the new Z in Japan's most prestigious championship.
