Episodes 6-7: Catra’s rehabilitation/redemption is believable. I like the dynamic between Adora, Glimmer, Catra, and Bow. Oh I may be gay for this She-ra. Also has this show gotten gay-er??!?!
I can’t decide who’s look I love more: Perfuma, Mermista, or Scorpia. I am so gay. So much trauma and drama!!! Micah got controlled because of course he did. And on their (Netossa and Spinnerella) anniversary. :(

So is no one going to address the fact that the first ones weaponized an entire planet without the inhabitants knowledge or consent?

The last few episodes
Honestly? I feel like if everyone had waited a bit (and were not already falling apart) everything might of worked out. Glimmer thought she was doing something good. It’s like... no one had all the info so they made bad decisions.
I feel the real ones at fault were the First Ones for making the weapon, for siphoning off another planet’s energy and magic. What right had they to do that?
Now we’re in He-man space right? Lmao

Episode 8 “Boys Night Out”
I’m impressed how the show manages to have characters be right and wrong at the same time.
Making me ship Mermista/Sea Hawk.
I appreciate Bow’s frustration; like he’s finally... like he made a good point. He’s always the one trying to work on their friendship.
Glimmer and Adora are having communication problems.
Seems like Adora puts a lot of value in being able to save everyone and solve all the problems. Interesting how both her relationships with Catra and Glimmer are strained. Hmmmm.

Episode 4:
while Shadow Weaver was obviously manipulating (and all those shots of plants being cut was suspicious af) I thought she made 2 valid points: Glimmer doesn’t have to be her mom (she can get involved in the action) and she could be powerful. I mean I don’t know why she never learned sorcery.
Double Trouble and Shadow Weaver sowing trouble among the rebellion but unknown to the other. Not good.
Loved Spinnerella/Netossa.
Also loved seeing actual rebellion stuff.

Episode 3: I was right about Flutterina. Apparently I’m gonna be suspicious of everyone now. Double Trouble could be a great way to spread dissent among your enemies.
The portal incident is a triggering moment for Catra, huh? She’s driving everyone away and getting meaner. But she’s also traumatized??
Poor Iris.
