Just as an aside, I don't think it's ever stated in the show that the twins are actually older than the others. Just that they didn't want to go back to school, which considering the pack they were in and then joining deucalion, it would make sense they might have simply dropped out. I thought this was made pretty clear when Lydia mentions wanting a new guy and talks about freshmen and then looks at the twins, aka canonically they look young to her.

are they though? They always stroke me as being older and just going back to HS to seduce Danny and Lydia. And since Lydia and Aiden had a class together i don’t think they were actually freshmen? She just assumed it cause they were new on the first day of school. Unless American classes aren’t always divided by age?

But even if they aren’t older, they still lied about who they were and they still are murderers. The relationships are still gross to me. Just the fact that anyone could forgive them for killing boyd is totally beyond me.

To the anon that said Scott probably sees Stiles as the Nogitsune: that's a pretty logical explanation but it doesn't make sense as to how Scott managed to be around Stiles so long after 3B. I think that would be something that would have come out by now?

yeah that’s what I thought too. But then again TW is that kind of show that’ll bring back shit like that whenever it’s convenient so I wouldn’t put it past them to use it as an easy explanation.

I think Scott believed Theo because he still hasn't forgiven Stiles for what happened when he was possessed by the Nogitsune. Knocking Kira out, stabbing Scott in the stomach, hurting the coach, blowing up the Sheriff station, having the Oni kill Allison, etc. I think Scott deep down knows it wasn't Stiles that did those things but because the Nogitsune looked like Stiles, he has a hard time seeing them as separate being, if that makes sense? Like, he thinks of the Nogi but sees Stiles face.

Yeah I’ve heard that reasoning a couple times already. Someone said it’s the reason why Scott flinched away from Stiles. It seems like a logical explanation. But so far there wasn’t any canon mention of this. And even if it’s the truth it would still be pretty awful on Scotts side. Stiles was as much of a victim as everyone else, if not more.

Would‘ve been interesting to see how Scott would’ve dealt with Jackson after the whole Kanima stuff cause that’s practically the same situation, someone being used to harm others and then being the face that’s associated with those awful events. Too bad we won’t ever get that.

But yeah. It could be an explanation. Some people even think it goes further back and Scott blames Stiles for dragging him into the forest and ‘getting him bit’ thus starting all of the supernatural disasters. Which is also a horrible reason.
