Can You Keep Up? || WinBod
Let it be said that Ichabod was not truly a fan of running. He was lanky for a reason and it definitely wasn't because of his athletic skills. Once upon a time he'd even used an asthma diagnosis he didn't have to get out of physical education.
Buuuuuut....
He was trying to be better. Swynlake was a place for him to regroup, center himself. Being out in nature often helped do that. Running was only a natural step up from that. Right?
So when he'd run into Winston a few times on the trails in the park (definitely sweatier than the other man and much more winded) it'd become a sort of thing to stop for a breather and a short chat. Especially with his appearance at BarnCon and the reveal that he was just as much a nerd as Ichabod.
It made it easy to call him up early one morning and see if he wanted to actually run together instead of just running into each other on the trail.
Plus Ichabod was still so curious about DevTech and its efforts to help communities. It was an admirable thing to do, in his opinion.
And so when he met up with Winston on one of his favorite trails (because it was by far the easiest and least strenuous), he offered a slight wave and nod of his head. "Remember t'go easy on me. I ain't a pro runner like someone." He teased.
