(/a pause, a yip, the whooshing sound of an outgoing message. jay sits the monkey down on the table, testing its mobility once more before letting himself smile a little at his creation. it’s pink, like she asked for, but when in service, the metal shifts, giving it an off-gold glow. it isn’t every color, like she wanted (although jaehyung did try—a solid 12 hours spent breaking down everything he knows about metal only to find out they just don’t have the right parts on board), but he hopes she’ll like it all the same)
