s-cornelius Yea I was bummed too. I felt like it was so weird for Marisha to go from “she’s never felt this way before” in Talks to “it was just a crush/it was just lust” :/ 

Exactly. I remember when Marisha talked about Beau’s feelings after the confession in Talks and it made my heart flutter a lot because it just felt like she’d put so much genuine thought and emotion into the evolution of Beau’s feelings for Jester.

And now, it’s not that Beau moved on, it feels like they actually retcon’d her feelings away entirely by having her say it was lust and that it was transference from her ‘real’ feelings for Yasha/transferable to Yasha, which was... not at all the impression given in the show or in Talks before.

It’s not gonna kill my interest in critical role but it does bum me out, ngl.

Aww that's so sweet! And the fact that you're A Planner will probably come in handy as the kid grows up. I hear the little ones like to go places and do activities and it can get complicated.

Definitely. At this point, though, I am doing things like researching parenting and child development. And making a registry ridiculously early, which also require researching. “What’s the best stroller... Okay that is $1400, so what is a very good stroller...”

same and different or sometimes two or more depending on the conversation are the definitions that ive used. Ive also always sort of seen bi as a umbrella term. Like, all polysexual and pan ppl are bi, but not all bi ppl are poly and pan.

Agreed, it’s a bi:pan::fruit:apple situation.

s-cornelius Yes perc’ahlia is great bc it feels organic. And I think they realized how good it was and it was only after that groundwork had been laid that they started to develop it as a romance. All the other romances ... less so. 

Yeah, I am having so much perc’ahlia nostalgia these days. That was such a good romance because it really did feel like it came naturally out of the characters and how they interacted. They fit together not because anyone was trying to force them to fit together but because they sparked something in each other that they both wanted -- and yet were hesitant -- to explore. It felt fresh and original and it held my attention all the way through the campaign. Perc’ahlia was their lightning-in-a-bottle romance, I guess. Maybe part of the reason it worked so well was because they had no idea whether or not it would work when they were trying it out.

Woo! Exciting!!

Yyyyyyeah it is! I’m very !!! about it, honestly. I’m also A Planner, so that aspect of it has been enjoyable for me as well. I have also already knit like probably 5 tiny sweaters, crocheted little booties, knit mittens, knit socks, crocheted a hat, knit little scarves. I’m already fuckin’ ridiculous.

Yes! I almost stopped in s2 because it was so heavy. But I looooove the quest in s3 and there’s a lot more payoff for the pain. S2 is all hurt all the time, and s3 is more hurt/comfort. :)

The quests are great! Quentin’s right about how having a mission makes everything better, lol. I like that comparison of yours - it does feel like we get more of a balance in S3, like the showrunners figured out the right tone for this show so that they could have the dark and emotional stuff without it being so draining to watch.
