India Shoot : Day 1 by S-Endz
Just got to India with Liana..... Diamond and Sureo have already been here for a couple of days! At the moment we're having a heated debate about the arrangement of our new single "Do It Again" in Diamond's hotel room..... That's the rock star life for ya ;) After that, we've got to all figure out our outfits for the photoshoot tomorrow. It hasn't completely sunk in that I'm back here in India right now. It's been a few years since I was last here and the country has changed a lot. But we don't have much time to see any sights - we are here to work. Photoshoot and video shoot coming up over the next week, and maybe we'll also find some time to eat and sleep. Time (Zone) Lord
Call me The Doctor. I haven't mastered time travel just yet, but time zone travel..... well, I've been in 3 different ones in the last 6 days!
Last Friday I landed in Los Angeles, where we had a series of Swami meetings.....I can't talk about the details, but you should know that I'm more excited than I have been in a VERY long time and my bandmates feel the same. So, my dear friends in LA, you may be seeing a lot more of us :)
LA is without a doubt my favorite city in the world - this trip reinforced that opinion tenfold. Something about that city pulls me in, fires me up, my creativity flows, and my happiness and positivity increases.
During the trip, I also managed to catch up (and finally meet in person) my friend Alex Silver, who I've known for years, which was awesome. We also hung out with Allison Kaplan, a phenomenal songwriter who we will be working with in the future. We hit up a lot of great bars over the course of the trip too, cos, when in Rome, right? Now I'm not saying people in LA like to party but...... wait, that's exactly what I'm saying, and I'm down for that! ;)
Now, we just landed in Toronto to prepare for our performance on Friday at Mosaic Festival in Mississauga. I hope to see all you Ontarions (Ontarios? Ontarians?) there on Friday because it's gonna be a wild ride. On Saturday, I'll be doing a solo gig at Rock The Coliseum (matter fact, I just walked into Hot Topic in the mall to see a massive RTC poster with my name on it..... dope) so hope to see you there for that too.
We're attending a film premiere tonight, then we have a whole day of media interviews and rehearsal tomorrow prior to the show...... #NoSleep #LifeofARockstar #Whyamiwritinginhashtagsinthemiddleofablogpost #cantstopnow

Our songs go through multiple changes and evolutions in the writing process, and you guys (the fans) generally usually only hear the finished product. Sometimes it's nice to hear part of the journey the song went through before it was completed. So here's a clip of an early demo chorus recorded for "Back It Up". What do you think?
