it was a date, a real and proper date. sanem considered their dinner a date as well, but there was a difference between a planned date and a circumstance of fate. their inital date had been a circumstance of fate, at least in sanem's eyes, an intervention from the universe to finally push the two together. sanem couldn't possibly be anymore excited, listening carefully beyond her music for the familiar rumble of sofia's bike.
sanem knew she wanted to see sofia again during their dinner, she was immediately connected to the woman in a way that she couldn't explain, the further into dinner however, she knew it wasn't the same kind of connection she'd form with just anyone. how long was she part of sanem's day to day without ever having a proper conversation? she'd had no reservations in telling sofia she wanted to get to know her more.
there was a lull in the music, the record needed to be flipped, but sanem finally heard it, pausing in place, a buzz rising in her hands, a flutter in her chest. she wasn't quite sure the last time she'd been this excited for anything. /@heroexxs
@heroexxs meet sanem togan kinda wild and free.
there wasn't a logical reason for why her day was always better when they came into the shop. it was an illogical thing, she had just accepted that when she first noticed after a few weeks of them coming in. there was a healthy amount of insanity a person could have, mostly leftover from the magic of being a child in her opinion. like the easter bunny or st nick or pots of gold at the end of rainbows.
today had been one of the less days, no drop in to pick out a new flower, and she'd pretended to be alright with that as she finished up orders and arrangements. as she finished for the night she played music and danced about the shop, putting things away for the next day before she grabbed her coat and her keys. she set the coffee machine and the store alarm before heading outside. while she was locking the front door however, the loud rumble of a motorcycle pulled her from her task as she watched them roll up in front of the shop.
"well, i'll give you some credit. i was certain you'd avoid me until the ends of the earth, so at least you've surprised me." sanem said, often soft brow pinched tight. she was too gentle, but she wasn't incapable of standing up to someone who had hurt her.
open for @saturnblooms
"hayır, anne gitmem lazım!" sanem tried her best to hide her whiny tone. "i have to go, mama." she nodded once, twice and finally hung up the phone, shoving it into her pocket. "i'm in the kitchen, sorry the place is a mess." she called out, grabbing the massive salad bowl she'd been using and bringing it to the sink.
"i'm so sorry, i thought—i don't—i didn't think anyone would be in here." her eyes burned and it felt like the air was being sucked out of her lungs as she stood before them, fleeing her own date and looking for somewhere to cry in peace, she didn't expect to stumble onto anyone else avoiding the party. @dozenrozez

"i said to be honest! i didn't say to be mean!" sanem's heart was torn, they were right, but sometimes honesty hit far too seriously. she didn't want to start anything, she hated to be the root of any issue, but still, she didn't do well just sitting quietly.
