On Tuesday, Hapoel Be’er Sheva played against S.C Ashdod in the group stage of the Toto Cup, finishing in the result of 1-1. Bello scored the opening goal for Ashdod in the 14th minute and Dovev Gabay equalized in the 36th minute.
Shlomi Arbeitman was injured and had to be substitued, taking a bad hit to the ankle, but from later diagnosis, the injury is not as harmful as first thought, and Shlomi will be able to train again in the next couple of days.
Siraj Nassar was supposed to be on the bench that game, but after complaining of pain in the hamstring muscle, the player preferred to see the game from the stands.
After medical tests, bad news came to us about Maor Melikson who has a torn hamstring, and will be absent for about a month.
In spite of the cease-fire, Ligat Ha’al will not open this Saturday, due to the crowed restrictions who have not been sustained yet. The Toto Cup game against Beitar Jerusalem will occur tomorrow, in Bloomfield, TA.
