It had barely been a couple of minutes that he set foot into the school that chaos appeared. Erikson had vanished during the beach outing, a calling by his mother had effectively ended the trip for him. So as people scrambled past him, he moved to the side away from the corridor. Someone seemed to have injured themselves, and his eyes widen momentarily when a half-naked Ophelia followed the stretcher.
“Looks like someone got hurt in cheerleading.” He mumbled to himself, and he froze. He wondered about the probability of it being someone close.
As night falls, Erik wondered why he was here in the hospital. The nurse beside him slumped, asleep on her desk. Rather it would be more accurate to say it was not just the nurse who was asleep, but the entire floor. If someone was to perhaps pass on, one can only blame fate.
He stood outside the door, peering in.
She was still beautiful, and his heart ached.
