kauri looked at the person in front of him, his brows furrowed. “what do you mean ‘it was him’? that dickhead couldn’t even come up with a prank like that. the guy doesn’t have a brain. ” the brown boy spoke, slightly offended. he pulled the prank, he thought of the idea. why was the mediocre of a student getting all the credit? “i pulled that prank.”

“can i help you?” kauri asked, moving his eyes from his computer screen to the figure at his now opened door. “there is such thing called a knock.” he rolled his eyes.

“accept my affection, you asshole!” kauri laughed, clinging onto the other, playfully. “give me fucking attention!”

kauri sat in class, his chin leaning upon his hand, not paying attention as her usual. the brown boy yawned, his eyes closing but they soon opened as he jumped when his professor called his name, asking if he was paying attention. “...no, not really. i have a major hangover, so if you would let me sleep would be great.” he gave a sarcastic grin before leaning his forehead against his arms on the table.

kauri looked at his significant other on the other side of the computer with a side facial expression. he had been away for about six weeks and their relationship was slowly crumbling down. the brown male wanted to keep the other, he wanted to be there just holding them. he could see the sad expression playing at their face and he felt so bad that he was in another country for university. “i’m sorry, baby. i really am. i’ll be home soon, i promise.” he whispers, unsure if he believes his own words.

      kauri stepped out of the strip club, his nike big over his shoulders and keys in hand. it was just another day at work, nothing out of the ordinary, just the same old shit. unlocking his car and then locking it again, there’s no point on driving, the coffee shop was just about a block from here. so the brown boy walked down, his hands stuffed into his pockets, his head down, not paying attention. being the clumsy person he was, he walked into the open coffee shop door. almost falling back, kauri composed himself. “fuck, jesus.” he mumbled, rubbing his forehead. “nice one, kauri. real fucking smooth.” he grumbled under his breath, keeping his grey hood up over his head.
