Series summary: Two young people (Asteris and Argyro) from opposing families fall in love and reawaken the vendetta from years ago in a mountain village in Crete.

This takes place right after Asteris accidently kills Argyro’s brother in self defense. From fear and guilt, Asteris spends the night hiding in the mountains until his own brother finds him curled up and freezing barely able to talk, and assures him that he will do whatever it takes to help prove his innocence.

Those who die have goals and dreams. But everyone has something as important as those. Parents, siblings, friends, lovers...people who are important to each other. They trust and help each other. The bond between the people important to you ever since birth and the string that binds them becomes thicker and stronger as time goes by. It's beyond reason. Those bound to you by that string will do that because it's important.
