hey everyone! this is just a quick note to say we'll likely be moving into episode 2 by the end of the week. if you've received a submit for episode 1 and don't think you can get to it in time, you're more than welcome to send the main an ask/im letting us know what your character would do and posting it with your response later. we noticed that most everyone has finished their submits and subsequent replies, but if you haven't yet finished you're still able to do so, even after we post episode 2, as long as we know what your muse's choice was! we're looking forward to moving into the next episode of the plot and we hope you are too! as always, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to send them our way.

hey all! just a little note here to mention a couple of things.

first, the wiki has been updated with all choices made for episode 1. this includes the character's not currently claimed. so if you're interested about that or want to check out what happened to the unclaimed characters we suggest you take a look!

second, we've decided to open up making secondary characters to anyone on the site that would like to do so. we just ask that you consider if you'll be able to handle the activity of two characters before claiming one if you would like to! the only stipulation is that we ask not to make two characters from the same group (so for example, one person can't make stag and dove, but they could make stag and brush). third, if you've got threads relating to episode 1, you are more than welcome to continue those, just make sure to tag episode 1 and episode 2 threads appropriately so that we can keep track of timelines for progression purposes! episode 1 was more solo focused to get everyone started, but this will also apply moving forward when things are much more focused on threads!

hey everyone! just a quick note mostly pertaining to some tumblr glitches we've noticed and how we're hoping to avoid them going forward as well as a couple of other housekeeping notes! first, we just want to say we absolutely love seeing what everyone is doing on the dash and how they're reacting to the beginning of the antler god inching its way into town. it has been such a delight to read! we hope you're having fun as well, and we're always here to answer any questions! second, we noticed that for some reason tumblr mobile has not been showing (all? some?) of the submits on the dash and that you have to manually click into their account or a link to the post to see it. :( another glitch is that when replying to a submit it will double up the reply in a way you can't delete with xkit. to avoid both of these problems, we're going to ask that when you get a submit just copy/paste the whole thing into a new text post, mention @theantlergod, and tag it as antlergod:submit. we'll be adding this to our rules as well! don't worry about backtracking and doing it to any submits received so far, this is just something we'll do going forward! last, if you haven't finished replying to your submit yet and you still want to, we'll go ahead and extend the start date another week. if you don't think you'll be able to reply to your submit but you know you're going to continue to be active, please message the main with your character's reaction and choice, as we cannot move to episode 2 until all choices have been noted down. though there's no rush to finish up things as we've allotted 2-4 weeks per episode! when everything gets wrapped we'll likely be dropping episode 2. :) thank you again, you are all such great writers and it's been wonderful seeing the rp come to life so far!!

SERIES PREMIER

hey you, yes, you! how did you like your submit? wondering what other muses got? curious to see what's going on behind the scenes? well, lucky for you, we have a gift! please follow : anthologywiki ! this page will be a hub of information, providing the various aspects of events and episodes, so that those who join later, miss out on something, or simply want to refresh their memory and see what has happened so far will be able to reference. while this is a great tool for all of us muns, we do want to stress: please do not bring information in character that your muse does not have a reasonable, canonical way of knowing! also, please note, this page like many of our other pages was coded for the purpose by one of the admins, so if there's an issue with ease of navigation or the like, please let us know so we can try to streamline that for you! there's a certain amount of unavoidable annoyance with mobile views in general, but we're doing our best!

SEASON PREMIERE

happy to announce that we are officially open! we're super excited to have all of you with us and we hope that you will enjoy everything we've got in store! now that everyone has been posted, i'm going to cover a quick list of housekeeping items. please make sure you follow: the main, the other members, and the antler god side blog. make sure your submit is open, because you will be receiving your submit for ep1 within the day after episode 1 is posted. in the interest of encouraging the last few canons to make their way in, we'll be conducting rolling acceptances through the weekend.

in this first episode, everyone will be receiving a personalized submit for their muse. it may have a predetermined partner and or it may allow for more flexibility, depending on the context and the plot. if you're having trouble getting in touch with the canon you're meant to be writing with after a reasonable amount of time has passed, please let us know so we can help! we know that in collaborative situations like rp, people's schedules don't always line up and things can get lost in the shuffle. we've taken pains to mitigate that through how we've set things up, but if it ever arises, we'd love to know about it and to help figure something out. episode 1 plots are not at all limited to specifically what you have been sent. however, plot progression will come most predominately from what happens within the context of those threads and/or solos. so, please make sure you push those to the top of your list when you have the time. if you're ever uncomfortable with anyone or anything (this is a horror rp after all) or if part of an event or submit is something that doesn't jive with you, please reach out to the main to let us know so that we can work something out with you. obviously the genre itself comes with it's own motifs and baked in potential for triggers, and we've tried to strike a balance in our prompts, but we are always willing to work with you if something is causing undue discomfort. hopefully that covers everything, but if you have any questions or concerns, the ask is open as always. thanks again for trusting us with your muses, and we're sorry in advance for what we'll put them through (sort of)!
