Watching the ass kickers episode right now and this is so special to me are you fucking kidding me. The way Charlie and Mac talk about how long they’ve been doing ass kickers. Mac told Charlie about it probably immediately and recruited him into it. He probably told Charlie about it and he thought it was just as cool as mac did. They’re so fucking stupid I love them so much

alright so i finally watched eaters of time and so now here are my thoughts that no one asked for

ok so first? the last crow that we saw before the scenes in the tardis?? did anyone else think it sounded like it was saying clara? bc honestly i doubt it but i feel like it would be something theyd do? (and i really really want them to do so... i might be reaching a bit)

also i liked the episode well enough, i thought that i was ok. the line of “we must all just sound like children” or w/e was pretty good. i also am trying to think of the doctor like i would 10 or 11, since hes obviously older and i think im subconsciously being more critical of the references that he throws in all the time than i would be if it was a younger regeneration yknow?

i thought the crow bit was.... rly childish and kinda lame and weird tbh, i get like, the meaning by the end of the episode but i think it couldve kinda.. done without (unless it was a meant to be a way for us to think claras coming back;) but i doubt it)

i think what was missing a bit was the lack of excitement from the doctor? and i think that may be true for a bunch of the recent episodes is that like previously theyve been super excited to meet new species! and to learn about them! and then here is an alien that feeds off light and thats pretty cool!! and the doctor doesnt have any kind of “oh isnt this interesting” hes just like alright we gotta get it back in its cage and have ppl fight it for the rest of their lives

(+ what happened to the whole “i hate violence >:(” thing??)

the sexuality bit was cute i thought and i liked the romans a lot and that def helped w the story and nardo i thought was actually pretty funny this episode (bill: ”we just sound like children dont we” doctor: “well, not all of you” nardo: “oh well thank you!” doctor: “not you”)

but yeah overall it def wasnt my favorite of the season, but i didnt really not like it that much

i still think bill puts too much faith in the doctor, i mean i know shes still in the beginnings of being a companion but yknow
