I DON’T HAVE TIME TO WASTE. I don’t have time to waste on people who aren’t worth the effort. And I thought – I’ve had my experience with people who don’t keep their promises. I’ve had enough of it, forever, and so when you couldn’t be there for me and then twisted everything around, even when you said… even when we agreed to drop the antics… so I thought the solution was the same. The last time someone hurt me this way, they left, and that solved the problem. I never had to deal with them again because they were out of my life. Only I’m realizing that didn’t really solve anything. They’re gone, but the hurt is still there. Nothing about that situation is ever going to change, and it’s always going to hurt. Even with time. But maybe, here, things could still change. If we make the right choices, better choices, then no one has to go.

Seriously, anyway, since I’m already running late with posting this today, I’ll just assume that anyone who follows me already knows my response to this and move on.
TMA S3 Countdown, Day 1 - Faction
For the first day of the @pilesofnonsense countdown, I present some rambling about eyes/the Beholding.
Egyptian Old Kingdom coffins would have eyes painted on the side, which were to allow the deceased to see out - the depiction fulfilled the same function as the thing itself. Gertrude Robinson defaced the books she owned in order to remove the eyes, and the corpse underground at Alexandria had had its eyes gouged out - are these the sorts of precautions that Elias mentions? Can the Beholding/bits of it see through any open eye? It doesn’t seem massively feasible, because Gertrude would have to have closed her eyes or something every time she did something shady, but I’m not sure why else she would have removed the eyes on her books.

Hunting Palismen time! This is still one of the best written episodes in my humble opinion (not just because of Hunter sdnjsfdnjnj).
And I’m using this palette again, it’s just perfect Hunting Palismen vibes, and a pleasing palette on itself. Might use this when I make my Luz and Hunter playlist (i accept song reccomendations)
