Our family spent the weekend out at our newly built camp for the weekend.  It was so nice.  It felt good to just get away from home to enjoy the chilly, fresh air, the crackling fire in the fireplace, and all of the baking we did from scratch!  We made homemade Poptarts on Saturday morning and they were to die for.  We only made a couple, but I know now to made double (or triple) what I made so we can freeze some and just warm them up when we want to!  They go fantastic with a hot cup of coffee.

We also decided last minute to take a quick family photo on the dock overlooking the water and it’s so crazy to see how big my family is getting.  My children have grown so much.  I honestly don’t know where the time went!  I’m so happy we’ve got this camp to sit and enjoy our time together with each other and our friends and make amazing memories.

Happy late Thanksgiving everyone! We had a pretty small gathering since most of our family lives out of town except for Allen’s mother, Shannon. Shannon is such a blessing honestly, I don’t know what I would do without her sometimes. She was a huge help and I am so glad that Wesley has taken such a quick liking to his grandma. Anyways, happy holidays you guys, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
