Hi I'm v shy. Thoughts on how Klaus' powers could develop / what are your hopes for him in season 3?
Hello! Oooh I want so many things!!!!
Warning, this is probably gonna be a mess:
Powers-wise I definitely wanna see him using his powers like in the opening scene of S2, that is, manifesting spirits physically and using them to fight. I think the process of him developing to that could involve some accidental manifesting and the siblings being a little freaked out by it
I’d also love to expand on the possession! Though it’s kinda ambiguous as to whether possession was part of Klaus’ powers or Ben’s as a ghost, but I hope it’s Klaus’! Possession would open up so many interesting possibilities, it would feel like a missed opportunity if they didn’t expand on it. I just really want Klaus to be useful and valued!! I’d also love to see a legit fight scene with him, like a few good punches and a simple takedown at least
I think my general hopes for S3 are just that his storyline and growth from season 1 will continue. Klaus didnt really contribute to the S2 plot at all (like he didn’t even know any of the villains, and he’s the only one the Swedes didn’t go after, why?), so I definitely wanna see that change and for him to be more involved! I think he’ll really be going through it emotionally in S3 I want him to s n a p, especially since he won’t have Ben as a companion anymore. He’ll also finally be forced to grieve for Ben which he never had the chance to do before.
And we all know Klaus doesn’t deal with emotions very well. He’ll probably be irritable which will bring up some good emotionally charged moments with the others. I can definitely see him and Diego yelling at each other before hugging it out.
Most of all!! I want Dave!!
My current theory is that Herb’s new and improved Commission™️ will be allies to the Hargreeves, and I think Dave could be recruited! Because if he survives past when he originally died he’d become an anomaly that needs correcting, and they’d probably rather just recruit him since all their agents are dead and they gotta rebuild (I also wrote a fic with that lol)
Dave would find out Klaus wasn’t lying or manipulating him and he’d wanna talk to him and get some answers. Of course this Dave wouldn’t have met Klaus in the war so their history wouldn’t be quite the same, but I think Klaus would be happy just to see him. He’d have to force himself not to freak Dave out, but policing himself has never been Klaus’ strong suit, so some sweet, sweet conflict may arise between them. I’m just so desperate for Klave to be endgame 😭 and I wanna see more of CRT!!
God I could go on even more with all the amazing theories out there, but this is already long and I don’t wanna bore people lol
