A lot of people call Marley a stale, boring character, but I don't think she is. All of the female characters on Glee are confident and sassy, and that's ok, but just because Marley is sweet and introverted and a bit nerdy doesn't mean she's stale. She's just normal.

Totally! I feel like most of the girls on the show have such a loud personality while Marley has more a quieter personality. Which doesn’t mean she has any less of one. And I think people forget that a lot. I’m not a big fan of you saying “she’s just normal” but I’ll excuse it as bad wording. It’s very obviously that s4 newbies were very much replacements of the OG’s but I love Marley. And people just reduce her down to as you said stale. And it makes me sad she doesn’t get more appreciation.

it seems like everyone has forgotten about the s4 newbies? they existed and were pretty damn good, so please don't exclude them from your tributes to glee. even if you didn't like them, they were apart of the show.

I would be more excited about the new newbies if we got to see them being a team with the old newbies that would go on to win Nationals in Ryder, Kitty, Marley, Unique, and Jake's senior year. Adding in more newbies without letting the old ones come back just feels depressing, though.

It's an unpopular opinion, but I really liked the season 4 newbies. Especially Ryder (I don't get all the hate towards him?) and Kitty. At least they had a little more depth than the butchered versions of characters I once liked. I really want to see Blake, Becca, Melissa, Jake and Alex back in season 6
