JELLY BEAN **A REMAKE**

This is a remake of my old Gumdrop mini skirt that I retired last week. I still loved the style of it though and knew that I could make it 100x better than it was with everything I’ve learned over the past few months! Here’s some comparison photos if you’re interested!

I had to fiddle with the weights and UV1 so much because of the 3d buttons, there’s still a little crunchiness with sliders but at this points that’s just kinda on brand for me 😂

I kept the original bright palette that Gumdrop used, but added in some neutral tones and browns. I also played around with patterns again for a few of the swatches (but I’m still trying to figure out how to make them look great so 🤷‍♀️)

DAUNTLESS inspo

I had these completely finished, thumbnails made, preview edit made and post queued up days ago and at the last minute I realized I wasn’t happy with them and decided to restart 🤣

Everything from about the mid thigh up to the waistband is my first real attempt at hand painting/hand drawing a clothing texture and honestly, I’m so happy with how it turned out! Like look at that buckle ... that’s a solid buckle 😙👌 

It’s definitely not perfect by any means but idc, I’m patting myself on the back for this one *pap pap* 😎

DAY & NIGHT

I’ve always loved these cut out shirts irl even if they are kinda silly and I’ve wanted to make one for my game pretty much ever since I started making cc and I’m!!! so proud of myself for how it turned out!

I decided to add two accessory pieces to this too, one that recolours the collar and one that adds a lace detail to the cut out area and yes, both accessories do work together 🙌

Because of how the UV map for the bow works, this skirt will conflict with some tops and accessories. I’d recommend pairing with simple clothing like crop tops, bodysuits and anything skin tight that doesn’t have complicated mapping!
