It’s been 8 years since Barbara died and I’ve never gotten over it 💔
She was such a kind and gentle soul. She was so young, had just got married and had her whole life ahead of her, life can be so cruel.
Sister Monica Joan saying “I would gladly let the good lord take me, if he would spare her” and Phyllis continuing to recite Tom’s prayer to Barbara despite being atheist had me bawling. Her holding it together the whole episode before breaking down on the steps hurt my heart.
Their bond was so special, Barbara was like a daughter to her 😢
