If there was one thing Marshall Singh had learned from his first appearance on Love Island, it was that he didn’t need complicated. But the thing about Marshall was that he had a bad habit of wanting what he didn’t need.

WIP Word Game

all taken from my s9 rewrite that i'm working on
P - Peeling the sheets back, they then heaved Sam’s limp body up into the bed then Dean quickly yet lovingly tucked him in. Then, in a display of softness reserved for when he’d check on Sammy as a kid, he brushed his brother’s hair from his forehead and leaned in to press a kiss there. Cold.
L - “Let go of the body? The fucking body? That’s my fuckin’ brother you’re talkin’ about, he ain’t just some body! I’m takin’ him home. Do whatever you gotta do, tag ‘im, bag ‘im, whatever, but I’m takin’ him home, gettin’ him outta this death box.”
A - A troubled look crossed Cas’s face then changed to one of concern. “Dean… How long has he been like that?” His tone tasted of pity around all the rot and Dean wanted to spit it out, maybe spit it back into Cas’s mouth. Maybe Cas would swallow it, too, he thought, and strike from the verbal record ever mentioning that Sam could possibly be - no.
N - “Nah, what is it Cas? It’s Sam, right? Go on, say it. Say I'm crazy for keepin’ him around, say we gotta go burn my baby brother.”
T - The confirmation that each was all the other had and the promise that that entailed was almost too much for Dean to hold in his hands, too heavy.
