“I ain’t that late,” Dre argued, hanging up his coat. “I swear I got here as fast as I could.” He kicked off his shoes and moved closer to her, reaching out from behind her to snake an arm around her waist and pull her body against his. “You can’t really be that upset with me.” He tilted his head, lips peppering kisses along her shoulder “You look fuckin’ amazin’, babe.” He whispered into her ear. Sure, he was over two hours late and had been ignoring her texts and calls until about ten minutes ago, but that wasn’t really too out of the ordinary.
