5 NOVEMBER 2024 || SOUTH AFRICA VISIT : DAY II (4/4) - UNITED FOR WILDLIFE GLOBAL SHOWCASE
The Prince of Wales attended the United for Wildlife Global Showcase 2024 as his final engagement of the day at the Lookout, V&A Waterfront.
The Showcase opens a two-day Summit for United for Wildlife, which will provide an opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas, learnings, and best practice in this area.
During the event he made a landmark speech on nature, the environment and his support for rangers.
He also announced the "Rangers Welfare and Standards Initiative" that will provide 10,000 Rangers access to appropriate, affordable in-service and medical evacuation insurance cover, together with opportunities for training and leadership development.
