Springfield Armory SA35 in 9MM. An updated version of the Browning Hi-Power. It is an honest, all steel, single action semi-automatic. Picking one up is like shaking hands with an old friend, very reminiscent of the 1911.

It is updated from the original in the following ways: It comes with a 15 round magazine v/s the original 13. The magazine disconnect safety has been eliminated bringing the trigger pull down to a very crisp 4 to 5 pounds v/s the original gritty and somewhat sluggish 7 to 9 pounds. The hammer is an improved ring type designed to eliminate the "Hammer bite" associated with the original. The safety is slightly larger and a bit reshaped for easier operation.

It may not be the sidearm for everyone but is isn't typical combat Tupperware.
