Browning Hi Power 9mm
Range day was good
My in laws knocked it out of the park for Christmas this year. This was my father in law’s dad’s Belgian-made (presumably FN, although I don’t see any identifiers) Browning Hi Power, purchased new in 1967 and fired on one occasion. It’s probably had less than a magazine through it.
I’ll definitely be shooting it some more, but what a cool gun and it’s an awesome heirloom to receive. My in laws are not at all gun people, so it was totally unexpected.
Anyone that’s familiar, anything Hi-Power specific I should know? Any issues with modern loads, dry firing or dropping the slide on an empty chamber?
