Threw around ideas for a new character.

Few dare traverse the woods at the edge of the mountain, for tales speak of a black clad giant often wielding an ax, said to be one of the messengers of the Other World. It is said he  appears when someone is close to death to take them beyond, much like the other reapers; but on a more unsettling note, he stalks visitors and trespassers without their knowing, and kills those with sin on their souls.

The locals named him what he has steadily become: Saa-shin, the reaper.

Visually speaking, he’s basically kind of an amalgamation of various 80s movie icons with my own spin on it.
