One set back had me here... Clenching my stagnant reflection. While my mind begged for a release My heart knew.. We knew that we were here for a reason. My angst, it cried out in a petty outrage. It killed anything that was just beginning. Or claiming its return. The welcoming comfort of these mildewed sheets washed twice over softened my core. There... My heart just beat. One thought, too fast. One move, too slow. I landed here. Full of expectations. They've expected And I've expected... One window to the creature that laid its hand lightly, readily and quietly on the key. Meanwhile, the heart of the matter blocked the only way out. Willing. Too willing. Mindful and Capable of lighting its path, past what was written on ones sleeve. However, never doubting for one second the possibilities and the consequences. I was left to read through, But I just sit here. Facing this glimmering reflection as false light streams through each thriving vessel. I supplied heat to keep the yearning from burning out.
