Heart Goes On
The heart is a funny thing It pumps blood Keeps us alive But it doesn’t give us a say in who we fall in love with But that moment we know we are falling we feel it deep down in out chest to the very bottom of our souls It’s the best yet worst feeling Knowing you found someone that makes you feel complete But at any moment they could disappear And that tiny breath of life that makes you feel alive will be gone And all you will be left with are memories While your heart continues to beat
