Okay so if you want unapologetically bad, watch Vampire Holmes. It was never officially translated (because it doesn't deserve to be) but I believe it is on Youtube and Kissanime. It's not even entertainingly bad, it's just, on a fundamental level, should not have been released in the state that it was?? I actually don't know who made it for what purpose, but it is an experience.

the best thing about KS on Tumblr imo is sableaire‘s tag ks-lost-in-translation that explains the many differences between Korean and English and how differently the comic can be perceived in the different translations

So back when Deltarune Chapter 1 came out, I said this:

In my view, Undertale and Deltarune are both games about choices, agency, and meta in video games. Undertale explores the idea of making choices as a ‘player’ playing a ‘game’ in a way that affects the world as a whole, which we can see in both Flowey’s actions and our own. However, Deltarune seems to be more personal, exploring how a ‘player’ playing a ‘game’ can affect an individual.

I’m so excited to see where this goes.

I just wanted to say that in light of the newly discovered Alternate Route, if I’m right about this and this game is actually about us, the Player, possessing non-blank slate, living person Kris’ body……. that’s harrowing. If Kris is a prisoner in their own body throughout that route? Harrowing, and it really makes the player into a monster. Love, love, love that, I’m so excited for the rest of this game.
