Re: the meds question! In my experience do my meds help very little with time blindness, for that you need other tricks. My meds specifically help with being more awake, but you mostly just self discipline/good habits when dealing with sleep problems (but taking the meds help in establishing a daily rhythm) and it really helps me focus, or rather, I don't get distracted as easily. Nonetheless, meds alone won't do the trick, cognitive behavior therapy is where the healthy habits are at!

🖊️ Might I ask... a bit more on Wilwin?

Wilwin is the middle child of three triplets! Her older sister is called Wrenwyn, who is an artificer, and her younger brother is called Branwen, who is a bard-barian (he multiclasses). Their tribe is a travelling group of bards and inventors, so singing was a big part of their childhood, but none of them (with the exception of Branwen) are good at it. Wilwin enjoys it regardless :^)

so like. i have these two amazing friends. @kima-ladyofvord (tori) and @celticrune (rose). and like. without them?? i so would not be here rn. they have pulled me through SO MUCH and i owe them SO MUCH and i hope they know how much!!! i fuckin!!! care for them??? holy fuck SO MUCH they are my fave queerplatonic cuties check em out theyre the coolio-st

i have a couple lmao. one with tori and rose called #keepitinyourcrate, one with those two and @dunno-audino called BADABADABADABADABADA rn??? but thats subject to change like every day. Biking into the Nether is a groupchat with uni pals, No Mercival Percival is also a groupchat with tori and rose on whatsapp for when tori is on the road and has no access to telegram, and then i have a bunch of generic ones for like family, dance classes etc.

The chaos, the incredible energy these OCs have... Could you maybe give us some quick info on them? Name and a short bio??

Yume & Yosuke dont belong to me (they belong to good old Nebula Nikk @king-catboy) so I cant give you extensive info on them other than that they are wonderful, but Gabriel is mine to expose as I please.

Gabriel (Keith, née Eoghan Cadfael Ceiteach) is one of my oldest ocs! Hes an Overworked Slightly Evil Scottish Demon with an Office Job. He's a good lad and I'm very attached to him even though he's cringe as hell <3 

Most of my ocs are based on personal experiences, either specific ones or large complex processes (Rampha on strong emotions, Eden on death, Hazel and Levi on a feeling of alienation in respectively a negative and a positive sense, etc. etc. etc.), and Gabriel is based on academic/job responsibilities (somewhat anticlimactic but no less LOOMING). He’s a fun dude, but much of his personal needs and hobbies have to be pushed aside so he can do his job, which is fulfilling in its own way, but leaves him drained and stressed out, which makes him very cathartic for ME to work on. plus I love the officecore aesthetic and absurd court drama, which is very much what he has to deal with all the time.

Re: listening to music while trying to fall asleep. I actually prefer podcasts, but noticed that I can sometimes listen to one during the day and start feeling tired. The best way to deal with it so far has been to listen to different shows/playlists for different needs (eg. sleeping/white bg noice/working), in my experience at least.

I just want to add: everyone reacts different to meds and there are also different types of ADHD meds! So definitely try for yourself if you find them helpful or not! Personally I like to limit my use of them to the weekdays in these times, but that also means that during the weekends even less gets done. Even so, when working from home, meds are so extremely helpful!! Usually you can get the most out of it with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy too, but just meds can already do so much for someone!

Yeah, there are quite a few different kinds! Ritalin and Adderall are probably the two most well known ones, but there are a couple of others, too, so it’s worth trying them all!

Once in a while you get questions from people asking if they are allowed to interact with this blog even though they don't have ADHD, and you always say they are more then welcome. I'd just like to add, that it makes me really happy ti see people try to learn more about ADHD and understand it more (especially if they don't have it, but wanna know more bc of a friend/family member/etc). I kinda wish my parents would also try to learn more about ADHD...

I feel the same! It’s always so lovely when people try to learn about ADHD, especially when it’s because they want to know how to help their friends or family.
