Just a Little Night With You || Adley
Finley looked out into the audience as she took her final bow. The lights were glittering, and she couldn't make out anyone's face, but she loved that. The feeling of being able to entertain an anonymous crowd. The crowd loved it too, and she knew by the cheers she heard. It almost was overwhelming, but that had been the past few weeks. She felt so honored to be up on that stage, sharing her bows with such a phenomenal cast... Almost nothing could make her feel more proud. Once the bows were over, she hugged her cast mates, and headed back to her dressing room. She quickly changed out of her last costume, but kept some of the makeup on. Not enough to look ridiculous, but some, to highlight her features. She changed into a tighter black dress, but threw a sweater over it. She was going to make a stop at the stage door, to greet her fans, but she knew that the sweater would be coming off, soon enough. The stage door was lovely, as usual. So many wonderful people waited, wanting autographs or selfies. It really made Finley feel like she was having the celebrity treatment. It was odd, for the Southern Belle, to think that she had fans, but it made her feel absolutely grateful for the situation she was in, as if she didn't feel grateful enough, already. When she was done posing in pictures, or writing her signature, she made her way back into her dressing room. She had some plans she wanted to make. She was fairly certain that Adrian had been at the show, again, that night. He knew many people in the show, so obviously he wasn't just there for her, but it made her feel special, when he saw her on stage. The record player was turned on, and she took off her knit sweater. She texted him to come back to her room, already letting the stage hand know that he might be coming. While she waited, she applied some red lipstick, her color of choice, and lit a cigarette. She couldn't help her craving of the smokey, sweet taste. And as she puffed some smoke out, dabbing it at her father's ash tray, she sang along to the song playing, My Funny Valentine. She really hoped he would come back around. gettinglaidlikeabrick
Thanks for the good stuff, stud. You’re still the best.

Some Kind of Wonderful || Adley
The bath was bright purple, and smelled of lavender and vanilla. Candles flickered around the edge, and, as she said online, Carol King's folky voice played in the background. An empty wine glass sat next to the bath, next to Finley's tattered copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. She was trying so desperately not to panic and do something stupid. But of course, she was talking to Adrian again, on the site. And now he was coming over, and her heart was racing a bit, and maybe she was doing something stupid.
Adrian confused her. Well, he didn't confuse her, so much as her sudden feelings for him, confused her. She didn't even quite know how to classify her feelings for him. Were they romantic? Or just sexual? Or the inevitable and annoying combination of both? It probably was. And this certainly wasn't the time to be bothering with such things. Especially with Adrian, a wonderful guy, with a wandering spirit. There was no way, the girl thought, that he'd be really that interested in her. Not like that, anyways.
Suddenly the bath felt too hot. Stifling, really. She drained the tub, even though she knew she said she'd be a statue, and walked around, slipping on a silk robe. She walked outside to the foyer, and found her lighter and box of lights. Stepping out onto her balcony, she lit up a cigarette, feeling the wind whip against her skin. This calmed her nerves, just a bit. But then she heard a knock from inside. And of course she hadn't unlocked the door. With the cigarette in hand, she walked over to the door, opening it up, smiling.

Christmas with Finley 2014
Dear Adrian,
Since I am away, and Christmas merry time is fleeting, I bottled up some of my Spiked Eggnog. Trust me, you'll love it.
Have a wonderful holiday, and a very Merry Christmas!
Love, Finley

Take you on a cruise || Adrian & Abbie
gettinglaidlikeabrick
Abbie walked down the pier, with her sunglasses on and her iPhone plugged to her earphones. It was a sunny Saturday, warm enough for her to walk around without her light sweater on. She looked for the spot where Adrian would be waiting for her. She had been looking forward to this outing. She didn't want to call it a date, so far nothing had happened other than the usual bragging and the playful banter with the male. He was undeniably fun, but she felt certain reservations, she didn't want to do anything stupid and it wasn't her style to just jump into the arms of a man by the moment he said he found her attractive.
So, without any expectations in mind and just the focus on making of it a wonderful day she showed up at his boat, finding him sitting by the port side, chilling under the sun. "I hope the inside is as impeccable as the outside." She teased, looking up at the man.
