I Wish You Love || April 22, 2017

Note: This is an event para for @thane-watson, @genaya-salazar, and Kai during @alessandradenaro and @drcartwright‘s  wedding.

Kailani wasn’t wholly surprised to see paparazzi at the church. The couple had been discrete upon their arrival to Italy but there was always papz at LAX ready to troll where celebrities were jetting off to. Micah and Aless’ home in Umbria was private enough to prevent the immediate buzz, but on the busy streets of the famous church there was no longer the silent romance of Italy. They kept their distance, snapping away with long lenses and not yelling at the wedding’s guests, but Kai still noticed them. As she wasn’t part of the wedding party but needed to care for Benji, she’d arrived early with the wedding party.

Benji had never been a particularly fussy baby, but in hopes to keep him down for the service, Kailani sat playing with him on a pew until a few people trickled in. With his little suit on she tucked a bib under his chin and slipped into a bathroom to feed him. Humming “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” she lulled the little prince to sleep, adjusting herself, and cleaning the dribble from his chin before heading back out to find Aubrie and pass the sleeping bundle on. Sirius and Malte followed her around the entire time until Malte parted ways to stick with Benji. Security was such a rhythm she was used to she was no longer bothered by it, but Sirius seemed on edge in the new place and Kai didn’t bother him with a discussion when he was so focused on everyone’s safety.

Sirius led her to a seat, but Kai wagged her finger and insisted on sitting on Aless’ side. With a huff he nodded but checked the pews before letting her take a seat. A few heads turned but not many. Kai waved across the isle at Micah’s family she’d previously met. Then, she turned her attention to the rest of the crowd trickling in, waving at her friends from Los Angeles that had made the trip for their mutual friends. That was when she notice Thane walking in with Genaya. As Callum ushered them in she nearly stood up when Sirius placed his hand on her shoulder and locked eyes with Callum who nodded and led them over. As soon as Thane was on the pew next to her she leaned in and whispered, “Sirius is very serious about me not bringing attention to myself. Anyways, I’ll have you know that there are few things cuter than Benji’s itty bitty tuxedo. So, prepare yourselves!”

Abbott definitely doesn’t have the energy of Amira, but I think it is time to admit that my running pace is more Abbott’s style. We went on a flower hunt on the property to bring home to sleepy momma who was getting an afternoon nap in with Aubrianna.

From Peru to Columbia, back to catch up on work, and then it’ll be off to Italy to marry the most amazing woman I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Who knew April could be so busy? You will be coming with us to Italy?
