A Place Called Home || headcanon || neslyn-beinte
William had taken the time to pack all his things through the week, he didn’t imagine he had that much of baggage, especially having arrived to the city only 3 years ago. Still, it was a good kind of spring break and the final cut, to start on a clean slate a new chapter in his life. As he stared at the empty rooms he was about to leave he couldn’t help but feel grateful to meet Neslyn. That drunk mistake of joining a social network almost a year ago had proven to be the best thing he could’ve done.
He couldn’t deny that he was feeling slightly anxious, not to say scared. William had never shared his space with someone else other than this family ever before, not even with Ariadna, but something was also pushing him to take this step. He would not fuck it up and the lessons from the past had caved into his heart: enjoy the moment and don’t let go of the good thing.
This time he wouldn’t be so careful, he would be more open, he would also learn to listen more. This was just another test and by just thinking of her he felt he could do it all. As he closed the door of his room, the same one that received him three years ago, broken hearted and out of dreams, he was leaving a different man, a little more hopeful and a lot wiser and happier. As he spotted her at the end of the wall, ready to leave, Will knew he was in the right to accept the blonde haired girl’s invitation. After all she was all he ever dreamt of.
“Let’s go home.” He said without taking one last look to a place that had worked as a place to crash but wasn’t quite home. He was ready to finally go that place, holding her hand.
